The SCS 800 provides always-on 4G LTE cellular connectivity (LTE Cat M1 or LTE Cat 1.bis) for daily data uploads, real-time alerts and remote management. It also includes Bluetooth for local commissioning and WiFi for enhanced geolocation tracking.
The SCS 800 includes a rechargeable Lithium-Ion capacitor providing one month or more of backup power. In low-power mode, it continues Bluetooth advertising and sends periodic location updates via cellular, with 24-hour check-ins by default to maximize battery life.
