AoFrio Appoints Commercial and Customer Success Manager for Oceania

Peg Tsai joins the company to drive connected refrigeration growth in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific and East Asia
Auckland, New Zealand, 1 September 2026 — New Zealand based smart refrigeration tech company AoFrio has appointed Peg Tsai to the role of Commercial and Customer Success Manager, based in Auckland.
In her new role, Tsai will drive customer growth and support the delivery of smart solutions across AoFrio’s food and beverage customers and refrigeration manufacturing (OEM) partners, with a particular focus on Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, and East Asia.
Tsai has a strong background helping businesses scale globally, with experience working across Asia, Denmark and the US. She spent several years at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) in business development roles, focused on the software, IT, engineering and manufacturing sectors.
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese, and fair in some other Asian languages, Tsai previously held commercial roles across the APAC region at information services business Thomas Reuters, energy engineering provider MB Century, and plastics and materials suppliers Formosa Plastics and Corning.
“AoFrio is a market leader with a superior reputation, and I’m delighted to be joining the team,” says Tsai.
“APAC is a dynamic and diverse region, and that’s part of what excites me about this role. There’s real opportunity to deepen relationships with existing customers while connecting with new ones across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific who are looking for better efficiency and insight from their cooling assets,” Tsai continued.
AoFrio Vice President Commercial for APAC St. John Vuetilovoni says Tsai is joining the company at an exciting time.
“We’ve been deliberately building team capability to ensure we can capture demand and meet customer expectations, particularly in the Cold Drink Equipment and Food Retail space. Peg shares our customer-focused work ethic, and she’s already hit the ground running in her new role,” says Vuetilovoni.
AoFrio commercially launched its new SaaS platform AoFrio iQ and cellular-connected controller SCS 800 in June, giving refrigeration fleet owners always-on monitoring and insights across connected coolers. Both additions build on AoFrio’s existing range of energy-efficient motors, fans and IoT monitoring solutions for the Cold Drink Equipment market.
Tsai’s appointment supports AoFrio’s push to bring connected monitoring solutions to more APAC customers managing refrigeration fleets, as the company builds out commercial capability to meet growing regional demand for visibility and insights at scale.
“There’s a lot of value we can deliver in the Cold Drink Equipment market using our IoT and software solutions, from location tracking and temperature monitoring to service intervention alerts. We’re also diversifying into the monitoring of chilled and frozen food cooling assets, with an early adopter customer in food retail industry trialling our food retail solution in Thailand,” says Vuetilovoni.
Vuetilovoni says adding someone of Tsai’s calibre to the team reflects AoFrio’s ongoing commitment to the greater Asia Pacific region.
“APAC was one of the first markets AoFrio entered, and we’re very excited about the prospect of deepening relationships and connecting with new customers.”
